A few weekends ago, Pops and Nanna come to Huntsville to spend the afternoon with us and go to see Mickey Mouse that night. We had so much fun visiting with them! We let Caleb skip his nap that day so that he could enjoy playing with them while Kailyn napped. At the show, we saw Mickey and his gang, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, and Toy Story. It was great!! Caleb loooved the show..as always with this type stuff, he did not want it to end. But he had to pee so so badly that he picked Pops to take him to the bathroom afterwards and he said that Caleb literally ran! Kailyn enjoyed it, but she is in this new stage of having some self independence so she did not want to sit still in our laps for the entire show. Daddy walked her around a little bit and she made it through like a tropper! Thanks for spending your Sunday with us, Pops and Nanna :)

Oh and I finally had a great chance to test out my new zoom lens for my camera...it was great! We got some great movie clips for Caleb to go back and watch too, he loves that.

Let's Go Outside!

A warm-ish day in March=go outside and play! We all have spring fever around here, so an afternoon playing at the Botanical Gardens was just the right decision! I almost didn't even pack the camera because we said we were going "just to play." Therefore, we did not dress the kids up in their cutest outfits and made sure they were in something they could play in. Buuuut I just love taking pictures so much and think my kiddos are so stinkin cute that I couldn't resist :) But I tried to stay out of their way of playing...for the most part!

Kailyn- A Year in Review

So I put off doing this post because I hadn't taken Kailyn's picture with her 12 month sign yet. Well lookie here...she is now 13 months and I did not get a 12 month photo :( Boo! Thankfully we have lots of pictures from her Birthday so that will just have to do. I am feeling a little mushy all of the sudden doing this post, look at how quickly my baby girl grew up. Her first year has come and gone and we are into her 2nd year of life- how amazing. God has given us this precious blessing and we couldn't be more thankful.

1st Birthday!

A Weekend with Cuz

A few weekends ago, we offered to keep Addison for the weekend. It had been a while since we had kept her...almost a year to be exact. We had kept her right before Kailyn was born last year and I guess we are just now feeling like we can keep 3 kids and be out-numbered? Addison and Caleb are best friends, truly. And they are actually easier to keep together than apart...they tend to keep each other entertained and are basically on the same schedules. Of course, we had a little "yah yahing" back and forth, nothing more than typical 3 year old drama! They are used to sleeping in the same room at Jeremy's parent's house, so we put our toddler air mattress in Caleb's room and they did great. We really had a fun weekend. On Saturday, after Kailyn's nap, we packed up and headed to the Children's Museum downtown. All 3 kids played and played and played. None of them wanted to leave but they were all 3 exhausted and hungry for some lunch. Then on Sunday we went to Church and then met Josh and Jessica halfway and ate lunch. We were surprised to see that Grandmama and Grandad tagged along for lunch so we enjoyed catching up and visiting with everyone.
