Kailyn @ THREE

Our sweet girl turned THREE in the blink of our eyes. It is so, so true that everything goes by so much quicker with your 2nd child. She walked sooner, talked sooner, totally skipped baby food and was eating real food quicker. Now she is three and has stolen my heart.
Kailyn is just an amazing little girl. She is no longer a baby (which she is VERY quick to let you know), but I tell her all the time that she will ALWAYS be MY baby girl. Of course, she doesn't understand that but one day a long time from now when she becomes a Mommy, she will totally get it.
Our sweet girl is so animated. She can be so loving and sweet: "Mommy will you snuggle with me?" "Mommy will you scratch my back?" Those are her two most popular bedtime sayings. Then at other times, she is completely dramatic and sassy. We fight over clothes and shoes. And of course, her favorite thing right now is snacks and candy...which she gets mad when she is told, "No" to! One amazing thing about her is that she can be mad or sad and 5 minutes later, she is back to her happy little self. Her personality is so fun right now. She will go upstairs and play princesses all by herself then minutes later she will be running around the house playing dragons with Caleb. She also looooves animals. And she loves all of her family so very much. My favorite time with her is first thing in the morning...she will come out of her room and climb in the bed with me to snuggle. I think a lot of times she doesn't even fully wake up before she comes so I get extra sweet time with her. I know it won't last forever so I am trying to soak it all up. A favorite activity at our house right now is Perler Beads, the kids will both sit for hours and make little bead creatures and Mommy is so thankful for that activity sometimes! Now that spring weather is arriving we are also enjoying playing outside as much as we can. Kailyn also might be our good eater- we are still trying to evaluate that. She loves to share my salad, rice, carrots, and cereal. Speaking of eating, Kailyn really doesn't like to get dirty- even when she eats! When we have pizza, her slice has to have a "handle" aka crust to hold onto. I could go on all day about the things Kailyn does daily to make us smile...
Oh boy, how time flies!
Happy BIRTHday, Kailyn!
