It is so hard to think that this time last year we were waiting on Kailyn's arrival, getting last minute things done around the house, folding and putting away tiny pink clothes, and spending a lot of extra special time with our only child. What a year it has been! I do remember the time without Kailyn, with Caleb as an only child and I will forever cherish those 2.5 years where he was my everything. But I would not change having Kailyn in our family for anything. She has made us complete and she has brought so much joy to our family. Most of the time now, the kids are playing together and it is so sweet- I pray that they stay best friends for a lifetime! We stayed busy in 2012, had several trips and lots going on. Kailyn started off being an on the go baby and fit right in. Enjoy our year in review:
January 2012
January 6-8, we started off the New Year by having Addison spend the night with Caleb for the first time. On Saturday, we took them to the Children's Museum downtown to play.
January 21, our last out of town trip before the baby came...Mommy just had that feeling that she was going to come early! We enjoyed a weekend in Guntersville celebrating Grandmama's Birthday.
January 28, the girls in our Sunday School class threw me and my friend, Ashley, a double baby shower since we were due within a month of each other. Look at those baby bumps!!
January 29, our Maternity pictures. And our last family photo as a family of three!
Then all we had to do was wait...we were ready for baby with a drawer full of tiny preemie clothes, lots of monogrammed pink things, and a gorgeous bed waiting on our sweet girl to arrive.
February 2012
February 4: Welcome to our family, sweet Kailyn!
February 5: Hanging out in the hospital.
February 6: Heading home...she really is ours!
February 7: Kailyn all snug in her bed.
February 10: Caleb was so in love with her from day one!
February 19: Kailyn's first Church visit.
February 26: Our first trip to the park as a family of four. Kailyn slept through the whole thing, but Caleb was so excited to be out and about!
March 2012
March 10: We finally started getting the hang of this new baby thing. We were getting out some..but only for school or after Daddy got home at this point. This day we enjoyed a nice evening at Bridgestreet eating pizza and riding the carousel.
March 15: Kailyn's first playdate. We met up with some new baby friends, Juliet and Henry at a playdate with Sunday School friends!
March 17: Our first trip to Guntersville with Kailyn, and our first family picture with all NINE of us!
March 22: Photo shoot with Mommy!
And that afternoon, Gran Gran came over to keep Kailyn while Mommy and Daddy treated Caleb to dinner at Applebee's and then we saw the Veggie Tales LIVE at our Church. It was a special evening with just Caleb, and the show was great!
March 24: Family fun at the Botanical Gardens!!
March 31: Mommy became even more picture crazy...she finally got her new camera!!!!!
April 2012
April 1: Family day at the Botanical Gardens
April 2: Sibling love!!
April 5: Caleb before his Easter party at school.
April 7: Spending the weekend in Guntersville for Easter.
April 8: Happy Easter
And Happy Birthday, Mommy!!
April 9: Dinner at Bridgestreet with Pops

April 26: After Caleb's school spring program.
April 28: We went to the Circus with the whole Gilmore family.
May 2012

May 17: Caleb's last day of school in 2 year old room
May 19: Nashville Zoo with Pops
May 25: Memorial Weekend at the River
