The day of L.O.V.E.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
My morning started out with a sweet little box waiting on me beside my sink in the bathroom. Jeremy got me a new charm for my Pandora bracelet- a Bible with a cross on it. I love it!! Perfect :)
Caleb woke up SO excited because he was going to have a Valentine's party at school. We already had his surprises for his friends and teachers packed and ready to go. He had a great party at school and got lots of goodies to bring home. He has such sweet friends (with creative, sweet Mommies!). His teachers had sent shoe boxes home a few weeks before V Day for "homework"...Caleb's very first homework assignment ever. We were to decorate it however Caleb wanted and send it back to school to use as a card box, when he brought it home, it was full of fun things.
While Caleb was having a fun day at school, Kailyn and I ran a few errands then met Daddy for lunch at Connor's. Daddy was so sweet and called to make lunch reservations a few days beforehand. We were so thankful he did because they were busy busy! We had a great lunch and even enjoyed walking around Bridgestreet for a few minutes since the weather was nice. Later, after the kids woke up from nap, we had their Valentine's gifts sitting on the table waiting for them. Just a little something to remind them how much we LOVE them!
That evening we met our small group and another small group from our Sunday School class at a local nursing home to pass out Valentine's cards to the residents. Our small group met the night before and made cards together. I wasn't sure how Caleb would do...sometimes he is slow to warm up/shy and other times he is very energetic and ready to go. He did great! He walked up to them and handed them a card while saying, "Happy Valentine's Day!" A lot of the residents talked to us for a few minutes and really enjoyed seeing the children. We were so thankful for this opportunity to spread the LOVE on Valentine's Day to those who might not have had any visitors otherwise.
Happy Valentine's from The Gilmore's. We hope your day was S.W.A.K. from someone you LOVE :)
