Caleb goes to the Dentist

Caleb had his very first Dentist appointment last Thursday. We talked about it and read a book about it trying to get him prepared. But we still weren't sure how he would do! Well, he did awesome. He went to a Pediatric Dentist and I think that made the biggest difference, the staff there were awesome and knew just what to do. They talked to him about cleaning his teeth, let him hold and touch the spin brush and feel comfortable with it before they even touched a tooth! They also did not even ask him to lay down in the chair, he sat up and I think that helped. Also, notice in the pictures that Woody from Toy Story joined him because he wanted to watch Caleb get his teeth brushed, haha! They were so impressed with how well Caleb did and even said that most kids his age do not end up getting their teeth cleaned. Go Caleb :) In the end, he got to go to the toy corner and get a treat- he went right to a set of plastic golf clubs, boy does that make his Daddy proud or what?! When I was putting him into the car, he asked if we could come to the Dentist tomorrow- you think he liked it??
