A Trip to the Gardens

A few weeks ago, we decided to have an easy-going weekend at home. It was a little cool outside, but we wanted to get out of the house for a little while, so we headed to the Botanical Gardens to play. Once we got there, Mommy realized it was actually a lot cooler than she thought it was going to be. Daddy and Caleb were fine, but Mommy was quickly ready to go and do something indoors! So after playing for a little while and snapping a few pictures, we ended up going to the movie theater.

This was Caleb's first visit to the movie theater, we saw The Lorax and Caleb loved it! He squirmed a bit here and there and wanted to switch from his seat to Mommy's lap to Daddy's lap, but he really watched the movie and enjoyed it. He also really enjoyed the popcorn- he probably ate his weight in it. Mommy and Daddy were a little worried that he had eaten too much popcorn and would get sick, but he didn't. Kailyn slept through most of the movie then woke up towards the end to eat her afternoon bottle. Sorry, no pictures of the movies...but it was part of our day, so had to include it! :)

The choo choo train was finally working again!

Caleb wanted to carry his own shovels to play sand this time...and he carried them around the entire time!

A few butterflies had hatched already!!
