Day Four- Doc, What's My Score?

Happy 7 months, Kailyn!!!

Our morning started off to an early start! Kailyn woke up at 5:30 and Caleb woke up at 5:45. Daddy got up with Kailyn and decided to take her for a walk on the beach. Mommy got Caleb to go back to sleep since the bunny on his clock was still asleep. After listening to Caleb squirm for a while, Mommy decided to get up and get ready and rush down to the beach for a morning photo shoot- she was thinking awesome sunrise pictures with sweet kids in great moods. Think again, Mommy! It was cloudy and about to rain, the camera lense fogged up and took forever to clear, and by then the kids were just done. So we got a few horrible shots before deciding it was time to rush inside before we got soaked! Once we came inside, we started getting breakfast together then the power went out because of the storms. It was then when Mommy decided that Kailyn was just too fussy and not herself...she had been bad the whole trip but instead of getting better, it seemed as though she was getting worse. Then Addison began complaining that her ear hurt. So Mommy and Aunt Jessica decided to head to the urgent care place and get the kiddos checked out. The guys headed out to play golf and have a guys day.

After Garmin took us into the Gheto looking for a clinic, we looked up another office and finally made it to the Urgent Care doctor. It took forever. But we finally saw the doctor and Kailyn has a double ear infection and got some antibiotics and eye ointment. Addison has an outer ear infection in one ear and got some ear drops. By then it was past lunch time, the kids were sooo hungry and tired of being bored at the doctor's office. We rushed to CVS to get the prescriptions filled then to McDonalds for lunch, then back to CVS to pick up the meds. By the time we got back to the condo, it was almost 3pm. Caleb got a late nap and Kailyn took a short little nap. Mommy has never been so thankful for naptime before- she was sooo worn out! Kailyn was so misserable all day so it was nice to see her sleeping soundly, even if it only lasted about 25 minutes. At about 5pm, Mommy had to wake Caleb up from nap so we could meet the guys at Crabs for dinner. We had a very yummy meal, even if it was raining outside. They have a pretty fun playground there, but we weren't able to enjoy it. But luckily they had a fish tank that seemed to entertain the kids for a while! Later after getting back to the condo, Caleb and Addison got a special treat to watch The Lorax and eat popcorn before bedtime. It was sad to "waste" a day at the beach, but it was a rainy, lazy day anyways. We are so glad that we took the kids to the doctor and hoping that they feel better very very soon and can enjoy the rest of our vacation!!!

Not very many pictures from this day! Mommy was just trying to survive the day, ha!! And can you believe the guys did not take a single picture while golfing?
