Welcome to Pensacola!

On Saturday morning, we headed off on our annual Gilmore family beach trip to Pensacola Beach, FL!! We got very lucky since we were coming just a few days after a hurricane had come by...we drove into sunny skies :) We left home around 9:30am, hit some bad traffic around the Cullman area, stopped for lunch, then gas, a grocery store trip at Publix on the way into town, then finally arrived at the Portofino resort a little after 5pm. It was a loooong day!! But the kids did fantastic on the drive, we couldn't have asked for better. Kailyn napped a lot of the trip and Caleb enjoyed his new Fresh Beat band DVD! Once we unpacked the car, got our things organized, and ate dinner, we decided to call it a night and get the kids to bed a little early so we could watch the Alabama game. Bama vs Michigan and Bama rolled over them- ROLL TIDE!!!!

The car was FULL!!! But it all fit :)

Caleb enjoyed a new snack box while watching tv- thanks Pinterest for the idea!

Kailyn enjoyed a big nap.

Daddy did a great job driving us safely.

Caleb was too busy playing with Addison and exploring the condo...but Kailyn enjoyed taking pictures with Mommy and Daddy.
