Day Two- Sand, Pool, and Crabs too!

On Sunday we were ready for some beach fun! We woke up, ate a quick breakfast, and hurried to get dressed, sunscreen on, and beach bags packed. Soon we were all 9 headed to the beach. Kailyn got to enjoy her first sand and beach experience- the girl loves the sand! But wants to eat it. So we learned that if she has her pacie, she won't try to put it in her mouth. But of course, Mommy hates that she has a pacie in a lot of the pictures, but what do ya do?! Caleb was excited to play in the sand but was not crazy about the ocean and waves. Someone has to be holding him to even get close to the "big water." We are hoping that as the trip progresses, he will warm up to it! After a big morning of sand and suds, we stopped by the pool for a short swim before lunch time. After naps, we headed back out to the beach for round 2! Uncle Josh and Grandad cooked us a yummy dinner of grilled fish and shrimp, baked potatoes, and corn on the cobb. It was nice to have a low key night at the condo, especially since the it was a holiday weekend and we figured the retaurants would be packed. We had a very slow, relaxing day to start our vacation. Ahh...lovin' the beach life!!
