Mommy and Daddy headed to Tuscaloosa for the weekend to go to the Alabama vs Arkansas game. So Gran Gran signed up to come over and keep our little monkeys for the weekend! We had a great time in Tuscaloosa, the game was a blowout- Alabama didn't even let Arkansas score a point. It was a night game and a little cool, so we ended up watching the 4th quarter at our favorite Mexican restaurant from our college days (ahh...to go back!). It is always fun to go to the games and cheer on the Tide, but my favorite part is reliving our college memories together, so bittersweet! And as always, we couldn't have done it without our awesome hosts, Jeremy's Aunt and Uncle. They are always so generous to let us stay with them for gamedays. It was super nice this time to actually get to visit without our 2 kids hanging all over us!
Meanwhile, the kids were great for Gran Gran. She was super awesome and got them out and about both days. The first day, they went out and had breakfast for lunch at Ihop then went to a local park to play before nap time.
Then on Sunday morning, they went over to Bridgestreet but got there too early- nothing was open yet because it was a Sunday!! They seemed to have a great time running around and playing though.
