I am proud to announce that we got a new Nephew a few weeks ago. The kids got another cousin whom they absolutely adore. Tristan Keith Gilmore was born at 6:58pm on April 13, weighing in at 7lbs 12oz. All of the waiting was over!! Towards the end of Jessica's pregnancy, we all had bets on when he would come and I think she past every one of them. She is a rockstar!!
We got to the hospital around 2:30ish that afternoon excited and ready to meet Tristan. Jessica's water had already been broke so we thought he would come at any time. Well we waited, and waited, and waited. Thankfully the kids were descent. They were just excited to spend some time with Addison.
Finally she was 10cm and ready to push. Then we all waited anxiously and waited and waited. Almost 2hrs later, Josh appeared in the nursery with a tiny little baby ready to get checked and cleaned up! We were all so excited to see him.
After watching Tristan for a while, I snuck back to check on Jessica. She was just finishing getting settled back in. I enjoyed showing her pictures of Tristan on my camera- the Mom's always miss that part of their new baby's life. Soon Josh came back in with Tristan all bundled up. We enjoyed holding him for a quick minute, but had to head back home since it was so late! Kailyn had already fallen asleep in the lobby, poor girl!!
Happy BIRTHday, sweet Tristan- it was an honor being there for your big arrival. We love you so so very much!
