Little Ball Player
This spring, Caleb chose to give baseball a try. We signed him up for Prep Baseball which is half Tee Ball and half Coach Pitch. The coach throws 3 pitches and if they don't get one, then they get 3 tries at the Tee. He has really enjoyed it so far!! Unfortunately, the coach has only put him in the Outfield or Catcher. He actually said he likes playing catcher, but anytime he is in the outfield, he just plays in the dirt because he's bored. He gets very excited each time he has a game and seems to enjoy playing. I know we have enjoyed watching him! Well, everyone but his little sister- she gets a little bored and sometimes asks to go to the car about 100 times per game.
This was Caleb's 2nd game on April 14. He got to play Catcher for the first time AND he scored his first RUN!!! We were so proud of him :)
We had over a week of rainout games, but finally started getting on track again! Here is his game on April 24. This was a late game and it was windy and cold. Mommy's tummy ended up not feeling great, so she took Kailyn to watch the game from the car...thus, the far away pictures. Luckily, Daddy is a champ and stayed at the stands to support Caleb.
On April 26, we had Pops & Nanna and Grandmama & Grandaddy over to our house for lunch. We enjoyed visiting with everyone before we all went to the park to watch Caleb play baseball. He was SO excited to have them all there watching.
