Visiting Baby Cousin

April 17-19, 2015
Can you believe we made it a whole week without seeing baby Tristan? We were supposed to head to Tuscaloosa this weekend, but decided to head back to Guntersville for some baby snuggles instead. It just felt like we had barely had any time to hold him at the hospital since he was born so late in the day.
On Friday, the kids did not have school, so Daddy took off work a little early to ensure a good afternoon visit with Tristan, his parents, and his big sister! It was so fun going by their house to visit. I was glad to see my Sister in Law was recovering well and their little family was adjusting well to life as four. Once Addison got home from school, the kids had such a fun time playing together that we ended up taking Addison back to the grandparents with us to spend the night. I think the new parents were thankful for a semi-break. We also got our first official cousin picture with FOUR!! By the time we made it back to Daddy's parents house, I had a voicemail from our relator saying we had an offer on the house. It was too late to talk with our relator, but exciting things were to come...
On Saturday, the guys played golf while the girls went to a local craft show. Me, Kailyn, Grandmama, and Gran Gran and fun shopping. Kailyn found several pieces of jewelry, a Frozen purse, and a few snacks! Between me and her two grandmothers, the girl racked up!! Then we headed to lunch at Applebee's when our relator called. We SOLD our house!!! We just couldn't belive it. Our dreams of moving to Guntersville were coming true!
That afternoon, Josh, Jessica, and baby Tristan came down to Grandmama and Grandaddy's house. This was his very first time to visit! Grandaddy was having a big fish fry. Pepaw also made it down for dinner and baby snuggles. It was a really nice family time. And of course, the food was amazing!!
Looking forward to many more weekends watching this little guy grow!!!
