Wrapping up our Christmas in Guntersville, we stopped by Pepaw's house for Christmas Eve morning before heading back home to settle back in for Santa. The kids always love playing with the Christmas train at Pepaw Gilmore's house, although it really might need to be replaced soon. I'm not sure how many more playdates the train set has in it! Of course, the grown ups attempted a few rounds of Knock Knock (cards) while entertaining the kids' needs in between hands. They set the lunch time a little late for us, so we ended up leaving early and stopping by Chick Fil A for a quick lunch. The kids were SO exhausted and took naps on the way home.
We had about an hour to unpack before Pops and Nanna came over then we all headed to Church for the Christmas Eve service. After Church, Pops and Nanna treated us to dinner at Applebees. Caleb was so so soooo excited to get home and fix Santa's snack and sprinkle the reindeer food. Lucky for us, they were both completely exhausted from the busy days in Guntersville that they went right to sleep. Unfortunately, Nanna woke up sick during the night and did not feel well for several days. But she and Pops were up at 5 when Caleb was up and ready to see what Santa had dropped off....
