Christmas with Gran Gran

December 20-21, 2013
Our Christmas time in Guntersville started off at Gran Gran's house. Once we got to her house and unpacked/settled in a bit, we headed to Top O the River for dinner. It was SO good! I haven't had that restaurant in about a year since it is not one of Daddy's favorites. Best catfish- ever! By the time we finished dinner and back up to her house, the kids had a few minutes to play while we got their bed stuff ready. They were excited to go to bed because they knew when they woke up, we got to do presents with Gran Gran and Uncle Blake. Saturday morning was a lot of fun. This was our first gift opening of the season and boy oh boy, was Caleb ready! They both got spoiled rotten, of course, and loved all of their new toys. Kailyn recieved a Minnie Mouse baby doll, a bath xylophone, and a trunk full of little toys. Caleb received a leap frog reading pen with some fun books and a map, 2 games, and a soccer net. Then they both got dogs that bark and sing when you read their books, which they thought was so fun! Jeremy and I got a new tv for our bedroom then he got golf shoes and under armour. I picked out my gifts a few weeks ago- a Vera Bradley purse with matching scarf and gloves. Yay!! I think Blake enjoyed his new fuzzy Crocs that we got him and Mom picked out her new red coat then we also got her a canvas of all of us at the beach. It was just a fun morning of family and playtime- perfect beginning to our Christmas season in Guntersville.
