Santa's Village 2012
December 13, 2012
It has become our annual Christmas tradition to visit Santa at Santa's Village in downtown. It is really cute place complete with elves, cookies baked by Mrs. Claus that you can decorate, lots of photo opportunities, Santa's house where you can visit the man himself, a few reindeer, Santa's sleigh, and it even snows! It is geared towards children, so it is a fun night for the family. We always get there right when they open and make a bee line for Santa then go and enjoy the other fun things after we get through with him since the line tends to get huge every single night. Caleb did fantastic this time with Santa...once Kailyn left the scene. She did not appreciate being thrown in his lap, again. On our way out of the village, Caleb spotted a horse and carriage and begged and begged to ride. It was adorable how excited he got and I guess we were in the Christmas spirit because we quickly agreed that we had to take him on a ride. It really was lots of fun, the horse was wearing bells so along with the clippity clop of his feet came the sound of bells. We toured a little piece of downtown and enjoyed looking at all of the Christmas lights while snuggled under a blanket as a family. Lots of great memories :)
