Christmas Party with School Friends
December 12, 2012
Caleb has gotten so lucky this year at school to be a part of a great group of kids! A lot of the Mom's in the class wanted to get the kids together for a Christmas party outside of school so that we could enjoy watching the kids have fun together- since we don't get to see them interact at school. One of the Mom's stepped up and planned the whole thing and even volunteered to host at her neighborhood club house. It was SO fun! All the Mom's signed up to bring in either a snack or a craft. We signed up for cookie decorating, which was actually a little bit of both. The kids had lots of fun decorating picture frames, playing a bean bag toss game, decorating Christmas trees, playing limbo, and swapping books. Caleb had so much fun, in fact, that he got upset when it was time to leave. Grandmama came over to keep Kailyn so that I could have some special time with just Caleb and ensure that he had the best time possible at the party. So afterward, we ran a few errands and grabbed some lunch before heading back home for a big nap! It was a great morning with my awesome little boy.
