*Pumpkin Patch 2012*
October 3, 2012
A few weeks ago, we went on our annual trip to the pumpkin patch at Tate Farms. This year was a little different in two ways! First, it was Kailyn's very first trip to the pumpkin patch. And second, we went with our small group. It was a great trip and everyone had a blast. We started out by letting the kids run around and play. The farm has tons of things for them to play like a huge jumper, hay maze, swings, slides, corn bins, pretend tractors, and more! Next we made our way to the barn to pet some baby animals. They had rabbits, a calf, pigglets, and a few goats. Caleb was fascinated with the pigglets and had to visit them a few times. Then we headed over to the tractor train ride. Caleb did not want to ride alone, so Mommy rode with him in her lap. It was a looong and bumpy ride, but he had fun. Then we were ready for the hay ride out to the patch to pick out our pumpkins. It was a hard choice, but we settled on four great pumpkins to set on our porch. And lastly, we all settled down to enjoy dinner together before heading back home. Our small group is so special to us and we feel blessed to belong to such a wonderful group of friends. Our kids love each other so much too, which is even better!
The kids were excited to be at the pumpkin patch!
And we tried for a few brother/sister pictures...
Our small group kiddos!

This was Kailyn's first time to swing on a swing set too! She loved it.

Although Caleb has ketchup on his mouth from dinner, I still like this one.
